1967 Ford Mustang ‘Eleanor’ from Gone In 60 Seconds sells for 1 million dollars!

One lucky bidder at a recent auction purchased the Gone in 60 Seconds mustang fastback for 1 million dollars!

This 1967 Ford Mustang fastback was the famous ‘Eleanor’ Mustang was driven by actor Nicholas Cage in the movie’s closing stages.  According to the recent article on fox news, 11 Eleanor mustangs were built for the film, but only three of them were drivable.  Two of the three were destroyed during the filming of the movie, so this fastback is the last remaining 'Eleanor' from the Gone in 60 Seconds movie!

California Collision & Custom's designed and painted a tribute to the famous 'Eleanor'.  This 1967 mustang was named, Helinor by the owner.  Helinor runs a wild 302 roller engine, TKO 5 speed transmission and 4:11 gears, with styling similar to 'Eleanor' with a touch of Chip Foose, earning its name Helinor.
